The Weight of Fate
Inspiration for this piece is drawn from GrecoRoman mythology, particularly, the story of the titan Atlas, who having been tasked to bear the weight of the cosmos on his shoulders for all of eternity, symbolizes strength and endurance in life. The river flowing from the source of light which he carries is the stream of consciousness. The man in the boat, the objective observer always sailing on the edge of time between the mountainous foundation of structure and principle, towards his North Star, a journey which requires Stoic Resilience and Fortitude.
